OH MY GOD!! are you a arrogant kshyatria wanna be or what!! You are only a arm chair warrior. Sitting in your room in front of your computer screen typing out criticism after criticism aimed at sincere devotees that are truly trying to do something for Srila Prabhupada and the rest of the world. They are leading by example, which you Mukunda das are not. All you do is bitch and complain and find fault, just like the pastime in the SCC where a “god brother ” of Isvara puri would only find fault with the associates of Lord Chaitanya and even the Lord Himself. It was so bad that the Lord reduced His eating to 1/2. That is who you remind me of Mukunda das.
Many of the prabhus here have started farms, temples, are distributing original books, doing hari nam, Mahatma das and his group of devotees are starting a farm down in Mex. that is open for the Prabhupadanugas, even mother Govinda dasi is taking her 165 acre inheritance and instead of selling it and making alot of money is willing to surrender it all to Srila Prabhupadas lotus feet and try to start a project for the devotees! I’m pretty sure eveyone on this list is chanting 16 rounds, following the 4 regs and reading Prabhupadas books, more likely than not they are also worshiping the Lord in their homes and many probably also take care of the Tulsi plant.
But do you say “well done prabhus, you are doing great service, i only wish that i was doing as good as you all”? NOPE, just find fault. Deep down i truly believe that you are just a little envious kshyatria wanna be that wishes that he could come to same level as the souls here. Why don’t you put your money where your smarta (actually not so smart-ahh) mouth is and start something substancial instead of beating the same dead horse, all of us are aware of the world situation and who is responsible. We don’t need to keep hearing about, or watching it, it over and over and over again.Yhs,Varaha d.

You are one of the many devotees who is still living the tamasic/rajasic lifestyle in the city and are intelligent enough to foresee that there are some unpleasant changes coming in the near future.  If I were in your situation, I’d be brainstorming with other devotees to figure out some type of plan to get in a situation similar to the one I’m in (land, cows, skills, favorable climate, cultivated neighbors).  If I were in your situation, I’d be having a real heart-to-heart talk with Srila Prabhupada regarding why I didn’t take up his lifestyle instructions earlier.  Of course you were doing service, but when the spiritual master asks for water, you don’t bring him milk.  I don’t think you automatically expect Krsna’s protection because you know that you didn’t want to live a simple lifestyle.  You preferred to live the way you are living.  That is obviously coming to an end.

Do i sense some gobar hase (smiling wet cow dung) spirit here? Or is your heart just full of compassion for all the tamasic city devotees Mataji?

Sulocana prabhu was a million miles away from the self projection you have placed upon him.

I see Sulocana Maharaja through the words of Prabhupada and by the effect of his message and example on my own life and how he has engaged me in the service of Prabhupada in so many ways such as compiling the Prabhupada Lilamrta As It Is etc. etc. etc……

We can see by his realizations in the Guru Business that he was rapidly meeting Krishna in the order of Srila Prabhupada by surrending to the Lord and putting his life ON THE LINE!!!! Sadly, the first generation of devotees were so lost in the darkness of washing the feet of sinful men dressed as devotees of Krishna and eating their saliva coated food remnants that they could not hear Sulocana prabhu’s urgent call to action.

For those souls who are aware of your epic fight, it will undoubtedly be very clear to them, unless they are possessed of a deranged and hellish mentality, that you are the perfect disciple prophesied by Srila Prabhupada in his Srimad Bhagavatam:

“Whenever an acarya comes, following the superior orders of the Supreme Personality of Godhead or His representative, he establishes the principles of religion, as enunciated in Bhagavad-gita. Religion means abiding by the orders of the Supreme Personality of Godhead. Religious principles begin from the time one surrenders to the Supreme Personality of Godhead. It is the acarya’s duty to spread a bona fide religious system and induce everyone to bow down before the Supreme Lord. One executes the religious principles by rendering devotional service, specifically the nine items like hearing, chanting and remembering. Unfortunately, when the acarya disappears, rogues and nondevotees take advantage and immediately begin to introduce unauthorized principles in the name of so-called svamis, yogis, philanthropists, welfare workers and so on…. The acarya, the authorized representative of the Supreme Lord, establishes these principles, but when he disappears, things once again become disordered. The perfect disciples of the acarya try to relieve the situation by sincerely following the instructions of the spiritual master. At the present moment practically the entire world is afraid of rogues and nondevotees; therefore this Krishna consciousness movement is started to save the world from irreligious principles. Everyone should cooperate with this movement in order to bring about actual peace and happiness in the world.…. Similarly, a devoted disciple of the spiritual master would rather die with the spiritual master than fail to execute the spiritual master’s mission. As the Supreme Personality of Godhead comes down upon this earth to re-establish the principles of religion, so His representative, the spiritual master, also comes to re-establish religious principles. It is the duty of the disciples to take charge of the mission of the spiritual master and execute it properly. Otherwise the disciple should decide to die along with the spiritual master. In other words, to execute the will of the spiritual master, the disciple should be prepared to lay down his life and abandon all personal considerations…. When one becomes serious to follow the mission of the spiritual master, his resolution is tantamount to seeing the Supreme Personality of Godhead. As explained before, this means meeting the Supreme Personality of Godhead in the instruction of the spiritual master. This is technically called vani-seva. Srila Visvanatha Cakravarti Thakura states in his Bhagavad-gita commentary on the verse vyavasayatmika buddhir ekeha kuru-nandana (Bg. 2.41) that one should serve the words of the spiritual master. The disciple must stick to whatever the spiritual master orders. Simply by following on that line, one sees the Supreme Personality of Godhead.”

After Prabhupada’s physical departure from this world, his powerful prediction has unfolded with amazing accuracy. By the introduction of unauthorised principles, the envious rogues and nondevotees dressed as Vaishnava’s have most definitely created complete disorder in the pure religious movement Prabhupada established.

Sulocana prabhu, you totally abandoned all personal considerations and sacrificed your life to expose the demoniac activities of these rogues and nondevotees and their apa-siddhantic philosophy. Such a perfect disciple as yourself, who fought so bravely to take serious charge of Prabhupada’s mission and execute it correctly, has surely seen the Supreme Personality of Godhead and become liberated back to Godhead, or at least you have become an exalted soul on a heavenly planet.

“So ksatriya, they are trained up violent to become violent to stop violence. That is required. Therefore Krishna advises that “Don’t try to become nonviolent because…” Tasmad yudhyasva bharata. “Don’t think that by killing the body, your grandfather, or your nephews and your brother on the other side, they will be finished. No. They’ll live. The body may be destroyed.” Na hanyate hanyamane sarire. But actual soul, he’ll transmigrate. According to Vedic philosophy, if a ksatriya dies in proper fighting, then he is immediately transferred to the heavenly planet, the heavenly planet.”

You have shown to us an ideal example of a ksatriya warrior by living those bold words that you spoke in your Guru Business:

“All else failing, it may have to come to violence some day. But death in the pure service of Srila Prabhupada’s mission will guarantee one is highly elevated or even liberated. So what is there to fear…. Naturally, most of the devotees in ISKCON are not inclined, for one reason or another, to the activities of warfare. But if we want to call ourselves disciples of Srila Prabhupada, we must not “lag behind.” We must fight for what is right, or we should “decide to die rather than not execute Prabhupada’s mission properly.” (SB, 4.28.48)… Nowhere in Vedic literature do we find the concept of non-violence in the face of demoniac aggression. The Bhagavad-gita was spoken just prior to the wholesale slaughter of millions of soldiers. That slaughter took place because the aggressors refused to surrender to the good advice of Krishna. Similarly, the Godbrothers have been giving good advice to the “gurus” now for seven years, but they have refused to accept it. So the time has come for violence. We are not eager for violence. They leave us no choice. The violence being enacted upon Prabhupada and his mission is far worse than anything that could happen to us in the course of a physical confrontation. Therefore, if the demoniac imposition refuses to surrender to Prabhupada and Krishna’s instructions, then we will fight to the death.”

PADMAGARBA DASA

“When there is imminent danger, an intelligent person should try to avoid the dangerous position as far as possible. But if, in spite of endeavoring by all intelligence, one fails to avoid the dangerous position, there is no fault on his part. One should try his best to execute his duties, but if the attempt fails he is not at fault.” [ Krsna Book, chap. I ]

Mukunda dasa: EXACTLY! So those devotees who didn’t have the Laksmi to buy land and cows and who have endeavored by all intelligence to make the best situation they can wherever they may be ARE NOT AT FAULT!

So best to leave these “tamasic city devotees” alone and stop harassing them with your fear porn. It is not helping, only wasting time. They didn’t signed up to be inundated by your nihilistic doomsday vision of Prabhupada’s teachings.

Best to do something practical instead. Go milk your cows and cultivate your garden, or better still increase your reading and hearing of Prabhupada’s divine message and your daily chanting.

And also do some Facebook fasting.

 My motive in continually reminding the devotees [and even karmis I know] to what lies right ahead [always backed up by what Srila Prabhupada said], is in part to ‘scare’ them into action.  The fact is fear is one of the most primal factors in motivating living entities into action….. Mukunda accuses me of simply projecting/exposing my own fears when recommending others to move to farms to avoid suffering in the future. So what, even if that is part of my reason, the fact remains, total economic collapse and WW3 are imminent, and those who don’t make some arrangements to get out of harm’s way, they soon will come to deeply regret it!

Yes great points prabhu. Prabhupada said we should welcome danger. I showed that quote in a recent email. Funny how Padmagarba tried to use it to tell all the city devotees to expect suffering.

It is funny that what you always meditate on is what you will attract. All these patch of land and a few cows devotees (who are certainly not TOTALLY self sufficient) are absorbed in the disaster which is coming to this world. And they keep telling the devotees who are in cities to GET OUT GET OUT!!!!! This is simply their own fear. They know they are not self sufficient and they are fearful and not in faith that Krishna will protect them.

Then they use a straw man and try to say that we say we need not move to the countryside. LOL. I am in a countryside location myself. Not a main city. And i have being prepping for years. Of course it would be great to be in a better position, still the point is that wherever we may be the coming times are going to force us to surrender. That is WELCOME Prabhupada says.

Looking for a safe place and over emphasizing that, is in a sense looking to avoid surrender and having faith in Krishna’s protection in ANY situation. And the way these smartas are always telling “tamasic city devotees” that they will suffer is only a projection of the fear they are feeling.

The way Anuttama spoke was bordering on the obscene. You may be familiar with that puffed up smarta pride that book distributors can get in ISKCON. They start thinking they are the best devotees because their service is so important. “The best service is book distribution.” I was influenced by it also. Although if you are sincere Krishna quickly puts you in your place. Anyway the point is even with that smarta pride that because one is doing books he is a better devotee than those otherwise engaged, those proud book distributors would still appreciate the service of the cooks, cleaner, Pujari’s etc. etc. they would see they were assisting the book distribution. But the Mataji has taken the smarta consciousness to a whole other level!!!

So unless we have a few cows and a patch of land then whatever we have being doing is simply giving Prabhupada milk instead of water. Even though one maybe distributing Prabhupada’s books everyday through one’s business. Or connection millions of souls to Prabhupada’s videos on the internet or raising our children in the devotional path especially hearing directly from Prabhupada etc. etc. All this is simply giving Prabhupada something he doesn’t want.

ONLY THE PARTICULAR WAY that the smarta vaisyas are serving is pleasing Prabhupada all other ways are giving Prabhupada something he doesn’t want!

This is smarta on a whole new level.
